Dove Canyon Courtyard truly is a gorgeous little hidden gem in SoCal that’s absolutely perfect for intimate weddings and events! Their cobblestone courtyard features a waterfall, a gazebo, AND a water fountain that reminds me of a miniature version of the one in Beauty and the Beast where Belle is reading her favorite book! The courtyard is also adorned with a countless number of twinkle lights that make the space absolutely dreamy for an outdoor reception or evening cocktail hour. This quaint little venue also features a bridal suite and cottage that are perfect if you’d like to get ready for your big day on-site! In addition to all the beautiful little photo spots on the premises, there is also a park and nature walk just down the road, so you’ll have plenty of variety for your wedding photos!
For this wedding, the couple opted to have their first look and portraits at the park nearby while their planning team set up the ceremony space. I loved this idea because it gave the bridal party lots of room to spread out. The trail also had really cute fencing that was a great little extra element in the pictures.
The couple chose a color pallet of navy blue for the groom and bridesmaid’s attire, and soft grey suits with blue ties for the groomsmen. The deep navy tone of the bridesmaid gowns, and grooms suit really made the light creams, pinks, and yellows in the florals pop and stand out. It was a great choice!
The two lovebirds said their “I dos” under an awning so their guests could relax in the shade as they witnessed the ceremony. Afterward, the ceremony area was transformed into a beautiful outdoor reception under the twinkle lights. Guests were invited into the cottage to keep warm and enjoy the dancing and other festivities until the evening’s end.
