Bilal & Sarah's Yorba Regional engagement pictures were so much fun to photograph!
From the first time I talked to Sarah she knew she wanted her engagement photos to be in a natural place with a lot of greenery, to match her gorgeous green dress! She also knew that she wanted the photos to capture the love and joy that her and Bilal share. This location is great because it has LOTS of beautiful trees and a great lake with a nice view.
In order to capture that candid and joyful feeling, I had the couple play little word games. I love doing this because it helps to take your mind off of being photographed and it gets you laughing a genuine laugh. Bilal had no trouble at all getting Sarah to laugh. These two are so cute!
When we got to the lake area, there was a cute little dock with a great view of the park. It was the perfect spot to create a more dramatic image - my favorite picture from the session!
Towards the end of the session, Bilal saw this really cool tree overlooking the water. We stopped to take a few more pictures near the tree and one of my favorites was this environmental image of them relaxing and enjoying the view.
At the very end of the session the sun was setting and this is my favorite time to create images that are more dramatic and punchy. I added in some of my own light to create this moody evening shot.
