Photographing families is always fun because there’s such a variety of photos that can be taken, as well moments that can be created. A couple of weeks ago I met the Decker Family at a park in Orange County for their Family Portrait Session.

I had the kids show up a little earlier than the rest of the family so that I could focus a little on them and help them see how fun it could be to be in front of the camera.

This Little guy was just adorable!

His older cousin Kaelyn was a natural in front of the camera!

Once I had a chance to get the kids comfortable, the rest of the family arrived and we were able to get some great photos, not just of the entire group, but of each couple as well. I just love the way these turned out!

As with all my portrait clients, I invited them to bring along any props they wanted. At the end of the session they had a special request that they could get a shot of all of them with moustaches! How could I say no? I laugh every time I see this photo! They’re such a funny bunch!

Overall this was a great session! Lot’s of laughs and a ton of great photos! Thanks Decker family, you guys were a blast to work with.
