About Pasea Hotel & Spa

Something that becomes immediately obvious when you visit Pasea Hotel & Spa is the culture of hospitality and a customer-forward experience. Even as we waited in the lobby to meet up with the events team for a tour, we observed several workers at the hotel making an effort to go the extra mile for guests. Since the Hotel is on the smaller side (250 guest rooms) it keeps the experience feeling intimate and guests are able to get a higher level of service from the staff. Having only one tower of rooms allows every guest to have a great view.

In addition to the great customer service, Pasea features floor-to-ceiling windows in many of its main areas so that you get to enjoy the beautiful view, even when you're inside.

Due to its expansive event space, trendy style, and dreamy location, Pasea is a popular venue choice for engaged young professionals who want a luxurious experience, out-of-town couples, and South Asian weddings.

Pasea Hotel Weddings

Pasea Hotel & Spa has two beautiful ballroom spaces as well as a huge outdoor lawn and terrace available for hosting your wedding that can accommodate parties both large and small.

Something we love about the layout of Pasea Hotel is that the event spaces are located on the opposite side of the hotel from the pool and restaurants. This is great because it helps to keep the events area a little quieter and reduces the chances of random hotel visitors wandering through your wedding.

Ocean Lawn & Terrace

The Ocean lawn and its surrounding terrace offer a whopping 14,600 square feet of space for you and your guests to celebrate. This space can host up to 800 guests and the venue can provide white garden chairs for your ceremony.

When you host your ceremony here, you and your guests will have a breathtaking view of the ocean. If you're hosting your reception in the Sapphire Ballroom, your guests won't have to walk very far to get the party started.

Blue Ballroom & Terrace

Pasea's Blue Ballroom & Terrace is the perfect space for smaller weddings and wedding-related events. The 3400 square foot ballroom with 14-foot ceilings can seat up to 150 people with a dance floor. Floor-to-ceiling accordion doors open up the space to connect the adjoining terrace - adding an additional 2700 square feet to your event space!

Whether inside the ballroom or out on the terrace, this space has a fantastic view of the ocean that feels almost panoramic, especially when the floor-to-ceiling doors are opened.

Other features that I love about this space include the built-in bar inside the ballroom and the firepits on the terrace that brings a classic, but elevated, Huntington Beach Bonfire vibe to your event.

Sapphire Ballroom

Up to 550 guests can fit in the spacious Sapphire Ballroom that spans 8400 square feet and boasts incredible 19-foot ceilings.

Accordion-style, floor-to-ceiling doors open up the space and allow your guests to flow freely from the ballroom to the foyer and Ocean Lawn Terrace.

While the built-in decor is beautiful enough on its own, this space also allows your event designer to completely customize the space for the ultimate guest experience. The venue can also provide rigging, which allows for even more creative and elaborate decor. Full Avant Garde events & weddings are a familiar scene in this incredible space. The room's chandeliers are also LED so that they can be set to match your event colors and mood.

Wedding Decor & Enhancements

The ceremony fee for this venue is $6500. It includes an event service manager, a private pre-event tasting for two, Easels for your wedding signage, garden chairs, gift/sign-in tables with linens, votive candles, a water station, a sound system, a ceremony rehearsal (dependent on availability), an overnight stay for the newlyweds, and a discounted room block.

You also have the option to add on a white seamless dancefloor, a Personalized monogram, Draping, and white carpeting. These enhancement options are available for an additional cost per square foot.

Catering for Events at Pasea

The expert in-house catering team at Pasea offers a wide range of options including plated or buffet, vegan and vegetarian options, delicious late-night snacks, and desserts. In-house catering starts at $165 per person and lower-priced plates are available for children's menu and vendor meals. As a vendor, I also must say that I'm grateful that Pasea's vendor menu is a hot meal, not a cold sandwich!

Pasea also has a list of approved caterers and bakeries that couples can select from if they'd prefer.

As with many caterers, keep in mind that you may have to pay extra for additional servers or bartenders depending on your guest count.

Wedding Photography at Pasea Hotel & Spa

Pasea's picturesque views and decor make this venue a great place for wedding pictures.

There are cute spots throughout the hotel, like the lobby's "Flip Flop wall," the famous VW Pasea Bus, and of course around the events area that make for great photo opportunities.

Couples can also pose for photos in one of the resort's beach butlers and even head down to the beach for romantic sunset photos on the sand.

Keep Out of Town Guests Entertained all Weekend

If you're hosting a wedding weekend or have out-of-town guests staying at the hotel, you won't have to worry about planning (or paying) to keep them entertained at every moment. Guests can enjoy a visit to the oceanfront pool, and on-site fitness center, or indulge in Pasea's award-winning spa services.

The coffee and snack shop (Blend) just off the lobby is great for grabbing a quick pick-me-up or sandwich. If you're looking for a great meal, the hotel's onsite restaurant (Tanner's) offers great food, cocktails, mocktails, and (of course) a great view! The upstairs Treehouse Lounge has been named "Best Rooftop Bar in Orange County," and is also a very popular hangout for both visitors and locals.

A few feet away, guests can soak up the sun at the beach or explore some of the area's most popular shops and restaurants at the Pacific City outdoor mall.

Other Considerations

Outdoor events at Pasea have a 10 pm curfew and may be subject to some amplification restrictions.

Parking: Pasea Hotel & Spa offers valet parking

Special room rates and block deals are available to wedding party and guests who stay overnight at the hotel.
