About Old Ranch Country Club
Nestled in a quiet pocket of Seal Beach, Old Ranch Country Club's 128 acre golf course has welcomed passionate golfers since it's founding in 1967. Though the club itself is members only, the banquet facilities are available to non-members for weddings and special events.
It's convenient location near the 405 and 605 freeways makes it an ideal venue for a wedding in Southern California.
Ceremony & Event Spaces at Old Ranch
Old Ranch Country Club strikes the perfect balance of understated elegance when it comes to their wedding and event spaces. The beauty of the site is such that you don't have do to a lot of extra decorating, but you can if you'd like to customize the space. In my opinion, this natural beauty and flexiblility, along with the 15,000 square feet of combined event space (that allows for up to 450 guests) makes it an ideal location for weddings.
One of the most popular event spaces at Old Rancch Country Club is the ceremony lawn that overlooks the lake and golf course. It features a raised altar area with an ornate wrought iron domed pergola, quite the statement piece for a wedding ceremony and couples often opt to have draping and florals affixed to it for an extra elevated touch. The space also features a small patio beind the ceremony area with a built in bar, that makes for a super easy transition to cocktail hour after the ceremony ends. Best of all, there's a gorgeous large staircase that leads from the club building right down to the start of the ceremony aisle that makes for amazing photographs of your entrance!
Within the club, there is 6,000 feet of banquet room space that can be customized and used as either one large room, or up to four smaller banquet rooms, depending upon how you have the partitions configured. All along one side of the banquet space are floor to ceiling windowed doors overlooking the course. When the doors are opened, it allows your guests to move between the terrace and banquet room, making for a great indoor/outdoor event experience.
Other Venue Features
In addition to the great ceremony and reception space available, Old Ranch also has an onsite bridal suite. The bridal suite has space to hang gowns, a large full length mirror, and a long mirrored vanity that's great for you and your bridal party to touchup hair and makeup before heading down the aisle.
Old Ranch does require that you use their in-house catering when you host events in their space, but the good news is that it's great food! The catering team works closely with you to create a menu that best fits the needs of your event.
Hosting your wedding at Old Ranch Country Club includes access to the bridal suite, parking for guests, and tables, chairs and linens. The estimated starting costs are around $14000-17000 for around 100 guest. Contact the Old Ranch events coordination team for more details.
Nearby Hotels and Attractions
If you're hosting out of town guests for your wedding there is a beautiful Aryes Hotel located just across the road from Old Ranch and lots of shops and restaurants nearby.
With close access to the 405 and 605 freeways, guests are just a short drive away from some of California's best shopping and attractions.
Also closeby is a quaint little town along Main Street Seal Beach, and Seal Beach pier.

At the main front entrance to the club is a large stone archway above the doors that makes for an elegant "frame" for photographs. Inside the doors is a beautiful mural wall that couples love for photos too!
Near the ceremony site is another entrance that features a beautiful fountain that makes for elegant photos, especially after dark when it's lit up!
In addition to the beautiful ceremony site, lakes, and grand staircase, there are also lots of beautiful spots with great views of the course that feature palm trees and a great view of the sky for sunset photos.
