About the JW Marriott Anaheim

JW Marriott Anaheim is a AAA Four Diamond Luxury hotel that opened in 2020. In addition to being a peaceful oasis steps away from Disneyland and The Anaheim Garden Walk, this luxury hotel offers a variety of spaces for weddings and events both large and small.

Wedding Ceremonies at JW Marriott Anaheim

Serenity Garden

The outdoor rooftop garden, known as the Serenity Garden, offers a 2700 square foot space that makes a great space for an outdoor wedding ceremony, wedding photos, or even a cocktail hour space. This lush garden can host up to 240 guests when transformed into a ceremony site.

This space includes banquet chairs, all your sound system needs, gift and guestbook tables, a fruit-infused water station, and Green Room access for the day of the event.

Orchard Ballroom

If you’d prefer an indoor ceremony space, the Orchard Ballroom has got you covered. This 4,224 square foot space can host up to 16o guests and features a wall of floor-to-ceiling windows that let natural light fill the space. Gorgeous handblown chandeliers hang overhead for a classy and dramatic feel.

This space includes all of the same great offerings as the Serenity Garden, however, all ceremonies in this ballroom must conclude by 5pm.

Since it is a ballroom, the Orchard can also be used for a reception venue.

Wedding Receptions & Cocktail Hour at JW Marriott Anaheim

The JW Marriott Anaheim Resort offers a variety of spaces to host your wedding reception or cocktail hour.

Arbor Ballroom

The Arbor Ballroom is the largest event space offered at this resort. At it’s full capacity, this 13,565 square foot ballroom can comfortably accommodate a whopping 650 guests! If you don’t need quite as much space, the Arbor Ballroom can be divided down into smaller banquet spaces to match your guest count needs.

One of the features I love about this ballroom is that the decor was thoughtfully designed to be both aesthetically pleasing, while also making tasteful and subtle nods the locale. For example, the Arbor Ballroom chandeliers were artistically designed to visually represent the Santa Ana winds, something that’s oh so familiar to SoCal locals, while also being positioned in a way that ensures they’re symmetrically displayed no matter how the ballroom is divided. It’s attention to the small details like this that makes JW Marriott the luxury brand that it’s known to be!

The Event Hub

Just outside the Arbor Ballroom, lies a spacious open area known as the “Event Hub.” What’s great about this space is that it can be used as a flex space for your event. You could customize the area to work as a cocktail hour space, before inviting guests into the reception. Or the area can be used as a quiet space for guests to lounge and chat if they need a quick break once the dance floor gets going.

Parkestry Rooftop Bar

Parkestry is JW Marriott Anaheim’s on-location rooftop bar. One of the things that makes Parkestry so unique is that it is the highest rooftop bar in Anaheim and the second-highest rooftop bar in all of Orange County! That being said, you know that you’re going to have incredible views and, if you’re here at the right time of night, you’ll get a fantastic front-row seat to Disneyland’s iconic fireworks show.

Since Parkestry is split into two areas, the nice part is that you can rent out half of the space while hotel guests and the public still have access to a separate area, allowing you to keep your party more private. The hotel suggestion for this space is that it’s best utilized for more intimate events like rehearsal dinners, bridal showers, and similar parties.

Honeymoon Suite

When you host your wedding at the JW Marriott Anaheim, the resort includes a one-night stay in their luxurious honeymoon suite. The suite spans 1,700 square feet and includes a private bedroom with a separate dining/living area. It also has a wrap-around terrace so you can enjoy a breathtaking view of the city. If you have a little extra room in your budget, it’s great to add on an extra night or even upgrade to the huge presidential suite so that you’ll have a great place onsite to get ready with your bridal party on the morning of your wedding.

Other Features of this Venue

In addition to the variety of spaces shared above and JW Marriott’s reputation for luxury service, this venue also has some other great benefits:

  • A picturesque rooftop pool area
  • Onsite restaurants and bars
  • Easy access to all of the dining and shopping offered at Anaheim Garden Walk
