The Ebell Club in Long Beach is a local landmark with a rich history. It features opulent vintage decor and stunnish Spanish-Revival style architecture. As you step through the doors, just one thought enters your mind "Wow!"

History of Ebell Club Long Beach
The Ebell Society was a women's club previously known as the International Academy for the Advancement of Women that was first established in the 1870s. According to Wikipedia, their mission was "the advancement of women in cultural, industrial, and intellectual pursuits." In 1896 Adelaide Tichenor and seventeen other women founded the Long Beach chapter of Ebell Club. By the 1920's, this fast growing women's club had grown to over 1,000 members!
In 2015, the Ebell of Long Beach was purchased and restored by Alan Dunn, the founder of Tres L.A. Group, a hospitality and catering service that's known for it's luxurious cuisine and top notch service.
Ceremony & Reception Spaces
The most Iconic space at the Ebell Club Long Beach is their incredible Courtyard space. As you enter the door, you'll step into a magical room lit by a huge skylight and incredible orb chandeliers. The floor is beautifully covered with mosaic tiles -the first thing I fell in love with when I saw the space! Straight ahead you'll see a lovely ornate fountain along a wall of exposed brick, and lots of beautiful greenery decorating the hand detailed archways.
Next up is the Grand Hall. I've always thought of this room as a luxurious dining room! The Grand Hall features hardwood flooring, and rich dark wood wainscoting along with 24 foot handstenciled ceilings that support three gorgeous chandeliers made of crystal and iron (seen in the photo below). A large fireplace sits at one end of the room, adding a touch of cozy luxury to the space.
In addition to the breathtaking Courtyard and the luxurious Grand Hall, The Ebell Club also has a beautiful parlor space that's absolutely perfect for guests to enjoy during cocktail hour. This room was literally desinged to be a space for people to hang out and enjoy eachother's conversation. It's filled with beautiful vintage decor, a warm fireplace, and a baby grand piano that's just waiting to be played. Last time I was at the Ebell Club I did not want to leave this room, it felt so inviting!
Last, the venue also has a large upstairs bridal suite that makes getting ready onsite a dream! Like the rest of Ebell Club, it's beautifully decorated and has lots of soft natural light filtering through the windows. The fact that it's upstairs allows you to have some added privacy, and the stairway just outside leads right to the Courtyard, making for a lovely walk to the aisle!
All told, the Ebell Club Long Beach boasts a whopping 17,200 square feet of event space! The venue also has wireless internet access and a professional sound system that provides quality sound throughout the rooms. This venue can comfortably fit around 200 guests for a seated event or 300 for a standing, cocktail-style party.

With so many incredible details and luxurious touches at every turn, this space was practically made for great photography!
