I recently photographed an absolutely beautiful garden wedding at the Japanese American Cultural & Community Center (JACCC) in Los Angeles, CA. It was a beautiful sunny California morning and the sunlight created a beautiful glow in the garden.
First I met up with the bride, Chelsea, and her bridal party in the bridal suite at JACCC so that she could put on her finishing touches. The bride chose a beautiful Oleg Cassini bridal gown from David's bridal and a pair of white satin Badgley Mischka heels for her attire.

Chelsea's mom helped her to tie up the back of the gown, while the bridal party admired her beautiful gown.

Los Angeles Floral Couture created a stunning white bouquet for Chelsea that featured lush green accents and ferns. A showstopper for sure!

Chelsea and Jared opted for a first look in the garden before the ceremony so that they could share a few quiet moments together before the day got hectic. Jared's reaction to seeing his bride-to-be was classic!

After the first look, we took some time to take portraits before the ceremony. When we're able to spread out the timeline like this, it helps to have a much more relaxed feel to the day and you get all the amazing photos you want!

The groom, Jared, had a beautiful white custom suit made for his attire. I'm kind of loving seeing both the bride and groom rock white on the big day - it looks so slick!

Jared made the chuppah for the ceremony, such a great personal touch to make it extra special!

I love this shot of all the guests looking on as the couple tied the knot at their garden wedding ceremony. The view of the garden is so beautiful!

I love that adoring look on Chelsea's face as her and Jared made it official! So Sweet!

Finally Mr & Mrs!

For bridal party attire, the couple chose a beatufiul sage green and gray combination that I absolutely loved!

One of my favorite parts of the welcome table at this wedding was that the couple had a super fun custom activity book and crayons just for the kids! Such a cute idea!

The couple opted for white orchids as centerpieces on each table. They also tied in the sage green from the bridal party attire with their napkin choice. The gold silverware added an extra elegant touch that matched perfectly with the gold and white chiavary chairs.

The lunch menu for the reception included a ramen bar and curry! Definitely one of the most exciting meals I've had at a wedding - the food was amazing!

Sweet & Saucy Shop created a gorgeous all white cake for the couple. One of my favorite parts of this cake was that it was all white on the outside, but a deep dark chocolate color on the inside!
While I don't normally eat cake at weddings, I had an opportunity to try a little of this one and...Oh man! It was absolutely delicious. I still think about this cake sometimes. 😂

As the lunchtime reception came to a close, I asked the couple if I could create something a little different with them. I had been noticing these super cool lights in the ballroom all day and wanted to create a dramatic shot. The couple agreed and we created this super unique and fun picture together.
