About Friendly Hills Country Club
Friendly Hills Country Club is nestled in the hills of Whittier and is conveniently located near the 57, 91, 605, 60, and 5 freeways – making an ideal and central location for your Southern California wedding.
As you enter the long driveway that leads to Friendly Hills Country Club, enormous pines and lush foliage line the roadside and guide you onto the property. The large craftsman-style clubhouse awaits at the end of the driveway with a warm and welcoming vibe.
Inside, you’ll be greeted by attentive staff who are known for their great service and attention to detail, and you’ll enjoy delicious in-house catering and cocktails while you admire the sprawling view of the golf course with its bubbling waterfalls, rolling green hills, and vibrant array of trees and flowers.

Ceremony Spaces
The 1st tee offers a breathtaking view of Friendly Hill’s gorgeous waterfall and lake. Whether you have a florist create a custom arch or you use the venue-provided white Roman-style pillars and white ceremony chairs, this spot is the perfect picturesque backdrop for saying “I do!”
Wedding Receptions at Friendly Hills Country Club
Something that’s really great about Friendly Hill’s venue is that their large ballroom spaces are flexible to suit both small and large events! Available reception spaces range from 1988 square feet up to 3990 square feet and feature large windows that allow you and your guests to enjoy the view throughout your event. You can host a reception for as few as 20 or up to 250 guests, depending on the event style you chose. For events with a dance floor, you can host between 120 and 220 guests.
The lower ballroom has access to a large terrace area that overlooks the course and doubles as an alternative ceremony site or a place for cocktail hour.
The upper ballroom features floor-to-ceiling windows, 17-foot ceilings, a baby grand piano in the lounge area (which is great for cocktail hour!), and a cozy fireplace that’s an ideal backdrop for the sweetheart table!

Costs for Weddings at Friendly Hills Country Club
For events with around 100 guests, you’ll want to estimate for a budget in the $8000-$12000 range. Of course, you’ll want to discuss your event details with the FHCC events team to get a detailed quote that best supports you on your big day. Wedding Photos at Friendly Hills Country Club
As a photographer, I really enjoy working here! Friendly Hills Country Club has great photography spots at every turn! The well-manicured property features beautiful scenery, and the flower-lined pathways with huge shade trees are great for both bridal party pictures and close-up romantic shots.
One of the venue’s most iconic picture spots is the stone bridge that overlooks the course and lake. It looks great from just about any angle, giving your pictures both variety and texture.
It’s also recommended that you schedule enough time to head over to the waterfall area with your photographer for some romantic shots by the water. Sunset is a great time for this series of shots because you get the golden light shining through and you can even get some photos with the clubhouse (and your reception) going on in the background for a nice storytelling effect!
