No matter how carefully you plan out your wedding day, there are always going to be little unexpected things that come up. You might find a run in your nylons (Pro Tip: clear nail polish can help prevent it from tearing further) or maybe a button comes loose on a groomsmen’s shirt. The good news is, you can be prepared!

Today I’m sharing a DIY Wedding Day Emergency Kit that will keep you prepared for any less than ideal surprises; In addition, it doubles as a good purse or car emergency kit for days other than your wedding. It’s easy and inexpensive to make, and can be made for yourself or as a gift for a friend!

For my kit, I used a combination of items I already owned, and items found at Target in the dollar/travel sections. It is best to keep the kit compact so that it can be convenient and on hand when you need it most! That being said, you may not be able to fit everything on my suggestion list in your chosen bag. The beauty of this DIY project is that you can customize it to suit your specific needs and can add or remove items at your discretion!
