Fun, carefree and real…
These were just a few of the words that Stacie and Ray emphasized when they told me what their vision was for their engagement photos. Rather than a lot of traditional or stiff photos, they wanted something that captured all of the laughter and fun that they share as a couple. If I had ever doubted it before, I knew then that these two were definitely my kind of people.
On the day of their engagement session we drove Sunset Beach to play in the sand and capture the glow of the sun as it sank into the horizon. The wind blew all of our hair everywhere, but it only added to that carefree and natural look we were going for. The smiles came easily; every time they look at each other, they can’t help it.
I can hardly wait to photograph their wedding in a few months. Until then, here’s a few of my favorite highlights from our session together:
