Miriam & Apolonio’s Orange County engagement photos were some of my favorites that I’ve photographed recently. These two have been sweethearts since high-school and I am so thrilled to document their journey through the next phase of their happily ever after.
We started their session by exploring the historic urban streets of Downtown Santa Ana. For outfits, Miriam chose an adorable casual dress and strappy heels for her look and Apolonio kept it simple and classy with jeans and a solid long sleeve; A classic and casual “date night” look.
As we explored I saw the super contrasty hard light hitting this wall and couldn’t resist creating a unique urban/edgy shot for them. They pulled off my vision perfectly!
For the second half of their engagement session, they chose a beautiful wilderness park in southern Orange County for it’s whimsical nature look. It was also time for an outfit change! Miriam donned a GORGEOUS hunter green gown with sparkly shoulder straps and silver open toe heels. Apolonio opted for a dapper grey suit, white shirt, and kept it relaxed by going sans tie. They both looked absolutely fabulous and we were blessed with incredible warm sunlight that took our photos to the next level!
Towards the end of our session, I was drawn to the unique branches on this tree. I placed Miriam and Apolonio in a variety of poses, but this next one by far is my personal favorite. They pulled off the Vogue look so perfectly!
