I met up with Ashley in Fullerton, her college stomping grounds, for her portrait session last month in celebration of her recent graduation. High school senior portraits are a big deal in the photography industry, but this was the first I’d come across someone looking for college graduation photos. I loved the idea and thought it was a great way for Ashley to record this special event in her life!
On her planning consultation, I asked Ashley if there was any props that she wanted to bring along to give her photo session something a little extra special. Before I even got the sentence out she already knew exactly what to bring! Imagine my surprise when she said her first prop would be her car!
This car…This car is ridiculous, but in a good way. It was so much fun to capture all the little details that made it unique. The best part was, it was something special to Ashley, something she’s built a lot of memories with, so it was awesome that she was able to incorporate it into her session!
After we finished up with the car, we moved on to another location and brought in her second prop; her cowboy boots. This particular pair of boots are important to her because she got them for practically nothing on a shopping day with her grandfather years ago. It’s been a special memory for them ever since.
Ashely was a total rockstar in front of the camera. She must’ve been secretly practicing her modelling skills before our session! Gorgeous!
