The very first night Ben and Nadine met, they knew it was something special. Maybe they couldn’t quite put their finger on it, but they knew. Time has only reinforced this feeling. They decided on a winter wedding last month, and Nadine, like any bride was nervous about what the weather would be like, but it turned out to be a gorgeous day. Not too hot, not too cold and plenty of sunshine. Not a cloud in the sky.
They chose The Hills Hotel as the backdrop for their Laguna Hills wedding. As a photographer, I was over the moon at all of the cool photo spots this hotel had available. We barely even made it outside for photos because the inside is so awesome!
I was particularly impressed with the bridal suite. It had the cutest little sitting area and gave me a great idea for how to photograph her stunning gown. As much as I love the gown in the window shots, I’m even more in love with this one.
Nadine’s hair and makeup were done by Shanon Denise. She was just gorgeous! Shanon did a fabulous job!
Like everything that day, the flowers from Florals by Jenny were equally gorgeous.
Since Ben & Nadine’s ceremony was in the evening and they knew there wouldn’t be much light afterwards, they opted for a first look. I love when couples decide to do this because it gives them a chance to have a few minutes alone before the day gets really busy and it also gives us more time to take photos of the two of them together without a lot of distractions. Ben’s face the first moment he saw his stunning bride was priceless!
Despite having seen each other before the ceremony, Nadine’s walk down the aisle was still a very special moment, and they both teared up a little. So sweet.

Ben and Nadine had a super sweet first dance, and then opened up the floor to the rest of the guests. It was the wildest (in a good way) dance party I have ever witnessed! Everyone was gettin’ down! It was so much fun to be a part of!
